SIAF impressed by SLOVAK TRAINING ACADEMY
After last year's break, aviation enthusiasts met again at the airport to admire the masterful piloting of the world's aviation elite. This year, for the first time, visitors enjoyed an airshow from the premises of Kuchyna / Malacky Airport, and despite the change in the location of the event, 35,000 visitors came to Kuchyna during the weekend. They enjoyed the air show, which also included a dynamic demonstration of the skills of Slovak Training Academy pilots.
The general partner of the Aviation Days presented one of its unique features here - the MD-530F helicopter, which in the air showed almost the limit possibilities of this small utility helicopter. The static demonstrations included the pride of the Košice Academy fleet - the majestic Sikorsky UH-60A Black Hawk, which was admired by adults and children, as well as a new addition to the ranks of solid wings - the Pilatus PC-9M.
An equally attractive part of the Slovak Training Academy stand was also the simulator of the supersonic twin-engine fighter F-18, which impressed many pilots and flying enthusiasts with its design. Thanks to the technology of virtual reality, the visitors of the stand were able to experience what it is like to be in a fighter jet in the air.
The Slovak Training Academy stand welcomed dozens of guests over the course of two days, and the employees, friends and partners of the Košice training center enjoyed the best show in a friendly atmosphere. The terrace of the stand reached almost to the runway, after which the best pieces of aircraft from 13 countries took off. The weather was also good for the air day, we had a beautiful sunny weekend with clear skies - the perfect conditions for enjoying the festival of aircraft technology.
